Below are all the check-in videos for all the glamping units and the shared spaces. You will not need to see anyone to check-in. Upon your 3 pm arrival, you may go directly to your unit.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in time is anytime after 3pm the date your reservation begins and check-out is by 11 AM the date your reservation ends. Lost Hill Lake will send further check-in instructions two days before your reservation begins.

Is Lost Hill Lake pet friendly?

Yes! We do ask that you pick up after your pet and keep them on a leash in the communal areas. Please note there are three, friendly farm dogs that do have free rein of the property.

Is anything available for purchase on the property?

Ice is available for at Lost Hill Lake upon your arrival. $2 for a 7lb bag and $5 for a 20lb bag.

Do you have restrictions for holiday weekends?

Holiday weekends, including, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day require a 3 day minimum rental.

Are there noise restrictions?

We ask that guests respect other glampers during their stay. We do not permit fireworks, explosives or firearms.

How is off season glamping different than peak season?

The amenities we are able to offer slightly vary (please see the description above) and we do not require a two night reservation during off season dates.

Can I invite other people to Lost Hill Lake during my glamping stay?

Unless a person is spending the night on the property, they are not permitted as a guest. No parties or other events are permitted unless previously discussed with our team.

Do I need to bring my own firewood?

Your first bundle of firewood is included in your glamping stay. Additional bundles can be purchased for $5 each. We ask that you do NOT bring your own wood (as recommended by the Missouri Department of Conservation) to avoid any tree-killing insects and/or diseases coming to our property.

Where can I find out more about my booked glamping trip?

Please look for a check-in/instructional email from the Lost Hill Lake team within 72 hours before your check-in date. (make sure to check your spam folders) This email will have more details on your stay and a video on your specific glamping unit. If you do not receive an email by the day-of your check-in, please contact our team. Please reach out to Sam at glamping@losthilllakeevents.com with questions.

Will I see other people during my stay?

YES! We have 3 families that currently live on the property full time along with many staff members and volunteers that are in and out. Everyone is kind, respectful and friendly. We ask the same of our glamping guests.

If our party has rented all of the glamping units, does this mean we will have complete privacy?

NO! You will see Bob and Samantha the owners onsite working with team members and hosting venue showings. Samantha, has two young children and they like to enjoy their own land when they wish. If you are interested in complete privacy, please email glamping@losthilllakeevents.com for a quote.

Can we book the glamping areas for groups or retreats?

YES! Check out of group and retreat packages.

What is provided in the community Kitchen?

Refrigerator, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, hot plate, Blackstone grill, Coffee pot with coffee, Pots, Pans, Cooking utensils, plates, cups, cutlery, drinking water. ** Ice is available for purchase onsite**

What is your cancellation policy?

Our glamping is in high-demand. We do not offer refunds upon cancellation. We do offer rescheduling at a 40% additional fee. Rescheduling must be arranged wtih LHL staff, and will be selected from current available dates only.
