Sarah and Robert's Sunny Lost Hill Lake Micro-Wedding
Sarah and Robert’s gorgeous micro-wedding was a sunny and bright occasion!
It was a bright and warm April afternoon when Sarah and Robert made their way to the Lost Hill Lake grounds for a romantic micro-wedding. After the first looks, the couple spent some time in the Chapel and along the lakeside for some adorable photos. How cute are the flower girl and ring bearer!? And then it was time to head to the venue!
The ceremony was held in front of our hexagonal arbor, draped in the colors of the day and setting a crisp and romantic scene. The aisle was lined with our blue mason jars and baby’s breath - a simple and classic look. After walking back down the aisle as husband and wife, the pair enjoyed taking photos around the lush green of the property in springtime with their friends and families. Next up, the beautifully decorated Large Pavilion played host to casual reception, featuring Lost Hill Lake’s mixed vintage china.
After the party, the couple stayed on the property in the Blue Sky Bus, for their first glamping experience as a married couple, and it sounds like there will be more visits to the glampers in the future. Here’s what Sarah had to say about their Lost Hill Lake experience,
“My idea of a dream wedding was to be surrounded by nature, family, and friends. Lost Hill Lake’s Walnut Grove was exactly that! We married in late April, surrounded by gorgeous budding green trees of the Walnut Grove. Our wedding was a small elopement/micro wedding and informal reception with 25 guests. Brittanie was so helpful, modifying and combining their plan offerings to meet our needs. Communication was fantastic throughout the process, and their assistance day-of was invaluable! We stayed in the Blue Sky Bus and it was exactly what my new husband and I needed. We will defiantly come back to do glamping again.”
