In May, we had the honor of celebrating the beautiful wedding of Julia & Lee here at Lost Hill Lake. The couple selected the all-inclusive Canopy Package, our full-service wedding package - what we refer to as “Top of the Tree Service.” From start to finish, their celebration was full of love, laughter, and those unforgettable details that remind us why we do what we do.
Our Canopy Wedding Package is designed to deliver a fully immersive, stress-free experience. Everything’s taken care of, so you can truly enjoy your wedding weekend from start to finish:
Friday–Sunday Rental: Includes rehearsal dinner space, six glamping cabins, extra tent camping, and shared glamping amenities like the shower house & kitchen
Decor & Styling: Full use of our in-house décor collection, our mixed vintage china, elegant glassware, and bussing package, and professional styling service included
Entertainment & Bar: DJ services for both ceremony and reception plus a custom Lost Hill Lake bar package of up to $3,000 in service
Logistics & Comfort: Shuttle service from Pinemark Inn, luxury restroom trailer, patio heaters or fans, multiple bonfires, s’mores station, and full property access through Sunday morning

Getting Ready
The excitement started early as Julia got ready with her bridal party at Blue Sky Bus, while Lee and his groomsmen prepared aboard our Happy Dayz Houseboat. These two set the tone for the day with calm joy, surrounded by family and friends who couldn’t wait to see them say “I do.”.
The Ceremony in the Forest
Guests were welcomed into our 50-year-old, shaded Walnut Grove, a setting that feels timeless and magical every season. Julia walked through our doors, escorted by her father, before meeting Lee beneath a show-stopping floral-draped arbor. Sister Chicks created stunning arrangements with even more soft florals attached to the aisle chairs.
Thoughtful Details
We loved the personal touches Julia & Lee added throughout their day:
A Polaroid guestbook inside the vintage photo booth truck.
An in memory table honoring loved ones.
Wildflower seed paper favors so guests could take a little piece of love home to grow.
Reception Under the Large Pavilion
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers by Championship Catering, while Julia & Lee took family photos in the grove before slipping away for portraits at Thinking Rock. This golden-hour escape gave them a chance to breathe, snack (toasted ravs for the win!), sip, and soak in the moment before returning to the celebration.
Dancing Under the Stars
With music by our in-house DJ, Hey Mr DJ STL (special shout out to the beautiful live ceremony music by Natalie Mayor), the dance floor came alive after Julia & Lee’s first dance. Julia also shared a sweet dance with her dad, and Lee with his mom, creating memories their families will cherish forever.
