At Lost Hill Lake Events, every wedding day tells a unique story—and Kristen and Justin’s September celebration was filled with meaningful moments, personal touches, and the relaxed elegance that makes our Walnut Wedding Package such a perfect fit for couples planning a full-day celebration.
With 120 guests, a beautiful early fall backdrop, and a timeline that allowed everyone to slow down and truly enjoy the day, their wedding was the kind of experience we love to host here at the lake.

Kristen spent the morning getting ready in the Pinemark Inn bridal suite, surrounded by her bridesmaids and the quiet anticipation that comes before the big moment. Meanwhile, Justin arrived with his groomsmen in the early afternoon, kicking off the day with photos and time together before the festivities officially began.
In the early afternoon, Kristen arrived at the venue grounds for their first look - a private moment that set the tone for the rest of the day. Soon after, the entire wedding party gathered for portraits before family joined in for photos ahead of the ceremony.
A Beautiful Outdoor Ceremony
The aisle was lined with wood stumps topped with chunky vintage vases filled with sunflowers, creating a rustic and cheerful pathway to the altar. At the front stood a traditional ceremony arbor accented with florals by Cultivated Blooms, adding a soft romantic touch to the woodland setting.
Guests entered through decorative doors framed with whiskey barrels and lanterns, a signature Lost Hill Lake look that perfectly complemented the couple’s décor palette of moss, blue, green, amber, and gold.
The ceremony concluded with a unique glass pour unity ritual, symbolizing the blending of their lives together.

Cocktail Hour & A Visit to Thinking Rock
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while Kristen and Justin spent some quiet time together and finished portraits.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was their visit to Thinking Rock, where the couple took a break to share a snack and drink together.
In true Kristen-and-Justin fashion, they added a completely unexpected twist—getting tattoos together on-site during their Thinking Rock moment. Guests were even invited to join the fun with a temporary tattoo station, making for one of the most memorable cocktail hour activities we’ve seen.
Meanwhile, guests enjoyed appetizers catered by Concetta’s Catering.
Sunset Photos in the Grove
With sunset arriving around 7 PM, Kristen and Justin slipped away for golden hour photos in the grove with photographer Ivory Grove Photography.
The dinner was provided by preferred vendor Concetta’s Catering, and the reception music was provided by Crucial Entertainment, who kept the energy flowing from dinner through the dance floor.
