A Wedding Weekend, Not Just a Wedding Day
Erin and Austin turned their celebration into a true destination experience! The Lost Hill Lake Canopy Package features exclusive access to our unique Glamping Resort from Friday through Sunday, so guests were able to arrive early, settle in, and enjoy the property together before the big day even began.
Erin spent Friday night with her girls at the The Pinemark, which served as the perfect space - bright, calm, and just minutes from Lost Hill Lake. Austin and his groomsmen stayed in the Blue Sky Bus glamping unit, keeping the morning relaxed and fun.
The afternoon began with a shuttle pickup that brought the girls to the venue in matching pajamas - a joyful, laughter-filled start to the day. Getting-ready photos took place at Happy Dayz Houseboat, where some of the most emotional moments unfolded.
Erin shared first looks not only with Austin later in the day, but also with her dad and her grandmother. We love that! Her mom buttoned the dress, completing a moment layered with generations of love. Erin wore her mother’s veil, which her aunt had also worn on her wedding day, and her ring featured a hand-dug sapphire alongside diamonds from Austin’s mother’s ring. These heirloom details anchored the day in wonderful family memories.
A Ceremony in the Walnut Grove
Guests gathered in the Walnut Grove for the ceremony in the late afternoon. Blue mason jars lined the aisle on shepherd hooks, adding a soft pop of color against the greenery. The hexagon arbor framed Erin and Austin as they exchanged vows, and after the ceremony, those florals were thoughtfully repurposed to the head table—one of the many seamless transitions included in their package.
A special pre-ceremony song—the Hawaiian Wedding Song, once played on record by Erin’s grandfather for her grandmother—set an emotional tone and reminded everyone present that this was a day deeply rooted in family.
Cocktail Hour & a Private Moment Together
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while Erin and Austin slipped away for portraits in the around the property and then something we always love to see couples prioritize: a private dinner together in the chapel.
This quiet pause - just the two of them - allowed Erin and Austin to connect, eat, and soak in the moment before joining their guests for the reception. It’s a small window of calm that often becomes one of the most cherished memories of the day.
Dancing, Speeches & Lightsabers
As the sun dipped below the trees and the dance floor came alive, this couple added a surprise that no one saw coming - lightsabers. What started as a playful nod to their shared love of fun quickly turned into one of the most unforgettable moments of the night. Guests grabbed glowing sabers, laughter echoed across the venue, and the celebration shifted into full-on party mode. It was joyful, unexpected, and completely them—a perfect reminder that weddings are even more memorable when couples aren’t afraid to let their personalities shine.
Erin and Austin’s wedding felt deeply personal from start to finish - joyful, relaxed, and perfectly paced.
